How do I remove super glue from action figure joints?

Okay, so yesterday I accidentally broke the tail off of my NECA alien figure and super glued it back on. However, some of the glue leaked into one of the leg joints and hardened before I could get it out. How can I remove the glue with out melting the plastic or removing paint? The glue brand was Gorilla Glue.

2. Apart from what the 1st Poster has suggested, you could try some acetone.. If you don't have acetone, nail polish remover is acetone based.. I cannot tell you if it will affect the paint or not as I have never had that problem to worry about.. )o(
