1. No, popsicle sticks are usually made of cedar or pine, which are coniferous trees. Coniferous trees (evergreen) are extremely toxic to hermit crabs and will kill them quite fast. I would also suggest you get at least 1 more hermit crab, because they are social animals that will die if they get too lonely.
