- The best approach is to not get it on there in the first place. Commerical super glue release agents will shift it, as will acetone (nail varnish remover). However, test anything you plan to use first in an inconspicuous area to make sure that it itself will not attack the screen. Also, be careful not to apply too much pressure to the screen when cleaning it: it is easy to bruise an LCD screen causing defects that are impossible to fix without replacing the panel.
- The acetone/nail polish remover is an option, but it may damage the screen. Another option would be to use a new razor blade to carefully scrape it off, again there is always potential to damage the screen especially a soft surfaced screen and the acetone will have a very damaging affect on a soft screen, but a glass screen should be able to handle either relatively well, just be sure the acetone/nail polish remover doesn't get to the edge of the screen to get inside the phone or screen area.
