How hot does it take for hot glue to melt?
I was just wondering how hot it takes for hot glue to melt and if it will melt in a car on a hot day. I don't have a specific example what it will be used for. I'm just curious.

- Before glue sticks (or cooled glue that's been extruded and used) will actually melt, they will soften and so can distort in shape depending on how they're sitting when that happens. And of course, any softened glue could also stick to other glue sticks, etc, or to other things, in that situation. As for the the actual melting temp, the low-temp craft glue guns usually reach about 250° F so the melting of the glue begins a little under that temp, I'd guess (the high-temp craft glue guns reach about 385° F).
