Gluesticks

Is it okay to use scrapbooker's glue to make a hollow book?

I'm making a book safe for someone as a present. I found instructions online and it recommended using puzzle glue or a white glue-water solution. When I went to the store, I couldn't find any puzzle glue and they were exasperatingly out of stock of Elmer's glue. Figures! So, I bought this glue: http://img.countryporch.com/darice/images/3M-019.jpg It is originally intended for scrapbooking - therefore for paper, etc. Do you think this will be alright?

  1. Fine - if it's meant for scrapbooking, then it'll be acid and lignen free and can be used for archival use, so what ever is put in the hollow should be 'safe'!
