- I'm guessing you are talking about a large sheet of glass on the desk top.....if so...it's easy to use a razor blade scraper and the glue will pop right off. Even with hot glue...it is still a water based glue...just thicker. So if all else fails....lay a wet rag on top of it and leave it on over night. The glue will soften up and can be removed with blade easier.
- You may want to try nail polish remover and if that doesn't work, go to the nearest drugstore and get some Goo Be Gone.
- Use the empty, hot glue gun pointed tip to re-melt it and scrape it off while it is hot. If there is residue, you may have to scrape it off carefully with a razor blade. But be careful, it can scratch the glass if you don't keep it flat or if you press too hard.
- I use hot glue allot.and in most cases I have just peeled it of my work top after it drys,,hot glue doesn't bond very well on smooth surfaces..if you do use a razor blade be careful not to scratch the glass....with all due respect to.. extex_co..
