Will hot glue on the outside of a paintball gun damage the gun?

I have a 98c. I want to put the plate that says tippmann upside-down. Can I use a glue-gun? I am NOT using the glue anywhere but on the outside of the gun.

1. Should hurt it. Hell its a Tippmann if you break call the world record books because you are the first to succeed in it.
2. it shouldnt and if it does it will be minor like peel some paint or something
3. There is no way it will hurt it, there is nothing there to hurt. It probably wont stay...it's paintball.
4. it wont hurt it if its on the otside but hot glue is not the most reliable glue use krazy glue or liquid nails to hold it in place. and if it break then as the first person said call guiness and collect ur trophy.
