Basic info( how it works?) on the hot glue gun?

My teacher has asked me to wright a leaflet about the hot glue gun. So i need basic info. on the hot glue gun and the safety of the gun.

2. Basically,you put a glue stick in the gun,pull the trigger and the glue comes out at the end when the heat melts it.It gets very hot so you don't want to touch it or leave next to a flammable material. It is almost as easy as squeezing a bottle of Elmers glue only without electricity or heat.
