best type of glue for spoilers?
ok, i have 2 spoilers with 3m double-sided tape. a lip spoiler on the trunk and a roof spoiler on the rear window. the lip trunk seems to be taped strong enough. although, the one on the window seems to not hold strong enough. i've had the roof spoiler re-taped with double-sided tape. so, is there any other type of glue that is water resistant? best type of glue. thanks.

- glue on spoiler???? That is the gayest thing I have ever heard of. Obviously it produces no downforce and is meerly for looks. I bet it's small and crappy looking too.
- DO NOT BUY ANY ADHESIVE UNLESS IT SAYS 3M. That said, if your buying glue for anything exterior on your car, buy 3M SUPER WEATHERSTRIP ADHESIVE. Make sure to clean up anything that gets on your paint, or when you try to remove the glue it will take your paint with it.
- take the spoiler back off the car. use wax and grease remover and a light amount of rubbing alcohol to clean the rest of the surface. remove all of the old tape from the spoiler clean that surface as well. re use the 3M double sided "trim" tape and it should work. any other glue or things of this nature will damage the paint
