How do you clean super-glue off the exterior of a car, without harming the paint?
A piece of plastic molding fell off the exterior of my car, so I used Elmers super-glue to reattach it and some dripped and dried on the paint before I could wipe it off, I have tried scrubbing and it just wont come off and I dont want to harm my paint job. any help would be greatly appreciated

- Just sweat it off.
- idk if its SUPER glue maybe it wont come off.. t
- Super glue remover
- husband did same thing on his truck and he was told by the experts it would have to be buffed out.
- Get some nail polish remover...get the "super gentle" formula, the one with NO acetone. Try that in a hidden spot, first. I'm telling you to test it out before you go wiping it all over the dang car. I'm not responsible for any damage you do....
- call the number on the superglue bottle and ask them to send something out. they have to have something. i got it on my pants before and they sent me this cream to get it out for free so that my pants didnt ruin. just a suggestion.
- this might sound stupid but it really works take a hair dryer to it. It will melt the glue on the outside and u can just wipe it off with a paper towl
- Slime away or the products related to it. Do not attempt to pull or scrap it off.
- Fingernail polish remover on a q-tip. Swab at it, then wipe with a damp cloth, swab, wipe, etc. until you get it off.
- ok heres what you do you measure out 3 tbl spoons of salt and mix with 1 liter of milk then you put a candle in it and let it burn over night this is very important it has to be at least 15 hours better if more then you take this mixture and you scrub it into the glue with a sponge NOTHING BUT A SPONGE and it should dissolve before your very eyes
- WD-40
