Gluesticks

is it safe to use super glue or other type products to repair torn or cut skin?

as a minor cut treatment, instead of a band aid?

  1. I don't know if it's safe but it sure as hell doesn't sound like a good idea. It would probably meddle with the healing process of the wound. I'd give it a pass.
  2. hell no!! unless you wana cause further damage.
  3. i definitely wouldnt.
  4. My brother is the king of cutting himself. He always puts super glue on the deep ones. It is what the hospital does. Just don't put too much.
  5. no because when u want to take it off, u have to pick/peel the glue off, and with it comes ur sensitive healing skin
  6. It's safe, but it might cause the cut to scar.
  7. as long as the glue isnt toxic it wont hurt it. but make sure that the glue is only holding the cut togather from the top layr of skin. that way the wound can heal properly. dont get glue in the cut because it can irritate it and slow the healing process
  8. There are glue-bandages available. I have seen people use super glue on minor cuts and it seems fine.
  9. no, dont do that....i think you should use one of those invisible band aids if you dont want it to show.
  10. wound glue is the same stuff as superglue, so no, it won't hurt you. Just be careful you don't do what I did and stick your finger to the wound you are trying to glue lol
