Will wood glue stick to plastic cling wrap?

I'm trying to find a way to make a table top I'm gluing together not stick to the boards I'm supporting it with. If I wrap the supporting boards with cling wrap will the wood glue that drips out stick to the the cling wrap? I'm using elmers wood glue if that makes a difference. Thanks!

1. No. I also use wax paper for this purpose.
2. I don't know about cling wrap but I use wax paper. It works very well.
3. Cling wrap sticks without glue.
