  1. oh yeah you can scrunch up a small peice of paper then make a ruber band ball
  2. If you add water to the glue, you could do a paper mache of what ever shape you wish, and employ your other materials to make it unique.
  3. You could make mobiles. Use the straws for a base (think of the cross the strings are ties to for a puppet) and make/cut/color different shapes to hang from the straws. you could make them of varying lengths and shapes and hang several levels. You could even construct 3d shapes to hang from the straws. Even cover the straws themselves with different colors paper. I make these with metal and beads but when I am playing with my kids we make them out of the materials you have. You might want to find some string or unravel an old sweater you don't wear anymore and use the yarn for extra color and hanging ideas or you could just use your rubber bands. Good Luck and remember, just have fun!
  4. Make your very own scrapbooks. Use hard material like carton as cover...Use the construction paper as pages...Make your scrapbook a discovery book of some sort. A way of expressing yourself or discovering who you are, what you like, what you want to do, etc.
  5. Try this webpage to make ornaments out of plastic straws. http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/cr_occasions_december/article/0,,HGTV_3270_4407325,00.html
