Are glue gun vapors bad for your lungs?

I've been working with a glue gun for a little while now and I was wondering using it might be bad for your lungs...

3. If you are exposed to it for too long and very often, the answer is yes!
4. the carrier that allows the glue to harden escapes as that process takes place it is not a good idea to use it in enclosed spaces and if you are using lots of it a mask is a good idea also keep a pan of water and a wet sponge to help set the hot glue quicker so your work goes faster and gives off less gas
