How can I remove dried hot glue from a desk?
Having never used a hot glue gun before, I figured letting the excess of one kind of hot glue out before using another would be okay. It quickly hardened (as hot glue is supposed to), and now I can't get the glue to pry off. Is there a particular liquid I can spray to loosen it?

- What is the desk made off? I've peeled hot glue off a number of surfaces. I'd get a sharp knife and try to gently lift one edge.
- Place a folded paper towel over the glue heat your Iron and rub gently back and forth continue to raise the temp of the iron until the glue becomes soft and you can then use a staight edge to pry it loose remember not to get the iron to hot as to burn the wood.
- use a hair dryer and it will get soft and you can than take it off---sissy
- if you cant pry it off, use a hair dryer and get it hot and scrape it off, either way is likely to ruin the surface of the desk.
