What is the best adhesive to use to bond corrugated(cardboard)together, cold glue(white glue) or hot melt?

I need to find out if thier is a research done, any documentation, of each adhesive and its bonding properties and why.A customer of mine need the information. all help is greatly appreciated. thank you
