hot glue instead of soldering>?

for this project ; http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/mods/360-12V-fan-Mod.htm can i just hot glue the wire instead of soldering it will the glue melt? Thanks and have a wonderful day!

1. Probably not. Generally, solder conducts but hot glue insulates. If the glue gets in between the two surfaces, you lose your circuit, and it's possible to 'unsolder' but very hard to 'unglue'.
2. You just voided your warranty! No more free fixes from Microsoft...you're in trouble.
