Gluesticks

Whats the best glue to use to fix hair strengtheners?

They heat to up to 200 c. The glue cannot leak or smell or melt or leave smells on her hair? Should i go epoxy? Is 200celcius too hot for epoxy? Thanks

  1. Epoxy wont melt over 200 if you let it cure for 24 hours.
  2. come on admit it it's for your hair isn't it :0) If the glue actually got to 200 deg C then it'd be too hot (and might go brittle/melt/burn) but if you are glueing the plastic to plastic, then I doubt it gets to the full 200 deg C. I'd give it a go... after all they are broken already. If you are glue the metal heated part then I'd buy yourself some new ones. http://www.intertronics.co.uk/data/araldite2000plusplastics.pdf
  3. i think you'd be better off buying some new ones. why risk the glue melting whilst straightening your hair. what would be cheaper? new haircut to rid hair of glue or new straighteners? argos have some pretty good deals, i got some from there for under £25
