how do i take super glue off a...?

im trying to get back on my moms good side... and we just moved into this new house about 6 months ago..well we werent in here about more then a month when my dad got super glue on our counter top.. and its a noticeable amount if you have the lights on at night cause its shiny...and i was wondering if theres any way to get it off without killing the countertop cause that wont work.. its a formica countertop

1. Fingernail polish remover will do the trick. Dampen a paper towel with the remover and wipe the glue off of small areas at a time.
2. you might try nail polish remover. put it on a q-tip and only rub the glue..... it will take awhile and you need to be careful not to get it on the counter top as it may harm the finish of the countertop.
3. try potato juice(peel a potato) Let the thing soak for a bit in soapy water, when the glue softens up a bit then wipe it off.
