- Try paint thinner
- i'd try nail polish remover (acetone) course if you have an AR coat on it, the acetone wont be good for that
- Ahh, the one thing we tell our patients is never glue your glasses. Pretty much the only thing that will get off superglue is acetone from the hardware store, and if you're woried about it because of the AR coating there is no need to worry, you said goodby to that when you used windex. Next time you need something repaired take it to an eyeglass shop.
- Please note...if you purchased your glasses from a chain store, you most likely have polycarbonate lenses (featherwates, thin and light etc.). Acetone will crack your lenses if you apply it. Take your glasses to an optician that knows what they're doing.
- just change this lens
- Try Acetone or nail polish remover on a Qtip. If you have an Anti reflective coating be very careful as that can damage the finish. Do not pour it on the lenses just use a saturated Qtip & gently rub it off. Try not to get any on your frame either.
