how do you remove hot glue from a car seat?
l had laid the glue gun on the car seat and left it there for about two days and pulled most of it off but a little piece is still stuck to the seat.

- I'd say use the same "empty" glue gun and reheat the trouble spot...and wipe off as its hot/melting... Best wishes! "/JOe
- Try a thinner/paint thinner,Use it gently you dont want the dye in the car seat to come away too,dip a cotton rag in the thinner(do think quite fast as the thinner evaporates) and start rubbing in the residue of the gun.It oughta come off.

- Try using a hair dryer and some paper towels. If that dosent work you can take a paper towel or a thin wash rag and place it over the glue spot and put a cloths iron over the spot until the glue heats back up and absorbs into the rag. Be careful not to burn the seat though.
- I wouldn't recommend using any more heat on it, as it might melt right into the fabric, then it's not coming out at all. I'd use a dull knife, like a butter knife to try and get under the glue, the gently pry it up. You might also be able to get a can of candle wax and gum remover to freeze the glue. That might make it easier.
