- Yep, its nice and strong.
- yes, don't burn yourself.
- it should but it depends on what you are using the balsa for..anything told wieght I wouldnt use a hot glue gun
- yes
- yes, just make sure you have plenty of glue sticks
- oh my gosh.. i am such a science fair nerd! if you have a choice, don't do that one! if anything, judges love projects that can help the environment!
- You want to use it, or do you know how. It gets hot.
- Yes! but I think it's not that strong!
- i dont think thats the best. its porous so maybe try wood glue, or ordinary elmers glue, for best results.
- The craft store has specific glues for each project type. They should be able to tell you which one would do the best job. If you don't have the time to ask them, then just try it and see.
- I would use regular woodworking glue for permanent bonds, and maybe hot-glue for temporary bonds, like ones to help you hold everything together and still whilst the real glue dries out.
- supper glue looks better
- Glue guns (either the High-Temp ones, or the more common Low-Temp ones) will hold the balsa pieces together quickly but not as strongly as a permanent "white glue" like Elmer's GlueAll or Aleene's Tacky Glue, etc. will However.... you can use BOTH types of glue for the best handling and results. In other words, put dabs or bits of white glue *and* glue gun glue where to you want to attach two parts (not on top of each other though), then press the pieces together. The glue gun glue will hold the pieces together immediately and tightly while the white glue dries and holds them together really strongly. HTH, Diane B.
