Gluesticks

How do I remove glue from the back of my teeth?

I had a permanent retainer that came out and now I have chunks of glue stuck to the back of my teeth, I dont have insurance or the money to go to a dentist, is there any way I can get this stuff off?? it feels really nasty and I have a hot date tonight

  1. Start eating paste
  2. Try using a fork to scrape it off. If that doesn't work, try eating carrots to break it off. If that doesn't work, try drinking some hot coffee to make it come off.
  3. If you are close to the orthodontist that put the retainer on, you should call that office. Chances are they won't charge you for removing the adhesive. If you are not close to that orthodontist try calling around. You may find an office willing to do it at little or no charge. Our office has done this as a courtesy for people.
  4. Just live with it and eat, eat and eat the glue should break up over time.
  5. some of the answers people put here are rediculous.. i think you should call your orthodontist (if you have the number) or your dentist and ask them what you should do cause your teeth can start to shift REALLY quickly and even 1 day not wearing a retainer is bad.. i wouldnt be too worried about your hot date cause if he REALLY likes you he wouldnt care and he would understand what has happend.. if hes a jurk he WOULD care and would be soo ashamed and embarresed... trust me if he acts like that your not missing anything.
