- No. You have to use the glue made for flooring tiles specifically. Hot glue is for putting tiny flowers on hats and such. :)
- Joe, with no offense meant, NO. I tile every day of my life, and answer tile Q's here often. Certainly there are mastics,,, similar to liquid nails that will be viable for Ceramic tile install, but not HOT glue. Steven Wolf Just my two "sense"
- No they would come up after a few years. Probably be best to invest 20-30$ and get some FulFlex Mortar.
- yes you can use it ,but don't expect it to work more than a few hours if walked on,get a small tube of liquid nails
- yes it will stay there for a long time but is better to use the gorilla glue its very tough and I'm sure it will stay there for ever
- There is no such thing-glue for ceramic tiles.Hot glue is for joining small objects only and not for ceramic tiles!!
- no...you need to use a tile or mastic compound. If you are doing this in a bathroom, I reccomend you go to lowes or home depot and get congrete flooring board to put down over the plywood sheathing as your underlayment. Ust a mastic compound to adhere it to the plywood, this will be a permenant flooring. The C-board has a slightly rough finished texture. Apply a flooring mastc to seat the tiles, be sure to use the spacers to keep the grout seams apart to the forrect diameter. Once the mastic has dried, apply grout to the seams....and you have your tile floor. It will be Water proof if you have used the proper grout compound.
