Okay, so we moved into a house built in the late 60's and the room my son picked was pink from the carpet to the ceiling. We removed the wallpaper, but the glue remained on the wall. We have used DIF and steam and sandpaper, and all sorts of different glue removers and they work a little, but are so much work that we only get about a 2 foot wide section done in a day. We are having a guy come in and spray a new coat of plaster on the walls when we are done. My question is....can we buy a sealant that we can just cover the glue and then have the plaster sprayed over it instead of months of scraping, rubbing, spraying, and headaches? Any knowledge based on experience would be most appreciated. Also, please keep in mind that I have tried DIF and other adhesive removers.
