how do i get super glue off the surface of rhinestones?

i was super gluing swarovski crystal rhinestones to plastic earrings i made. it looks great but a lot of the crystals have a bit of super glue on TOP of them, like on the surface, which makes they look flat rather than super shiny. can i somehow get it off with water or nailpolish remover or something?? please please help!<3

1. hi...i would try nail polish remover...the acetone should take care of it....good luck!
2. I 2nd lawumen... what I was gonna put too...lol & just to note rubbing alcohol takes permanate marker off plastic...
