how to make ruffle socks using a hot glue gun?

I am no good with sewing so i was wondering if you could make ruffle socks with a hot glue gun instead?

1. I am assuming you want to put ruffles on the top of your socks to make them fancy. You can use a hot glue gun. I use one all the time for things that usually require sewing. Two things. The glue is of course very hot and the ruffles have holes and the glue will seep through to you fingers. I use a metal thimble to push the material onto the glue. The thimble gets covered with glue but it does peel off (not all the way, but enough to use it again and again). Secondly I am not sure you can wash them without the ruffles coming off. It may work if you wash them in a pillow case that is tied at the top and on cold water. You could try it and see. Hope this helps.
