what is the best way to remove Super Glue from the door locks of my car?

Some Numbskull has put super glue in my cars door locks and deisel filler lock. What is the best way to get this out? Or does it mean a new locks job? Kelly I have not upset anyone. my car was parked miles away from home and I was walking my dogs. This was pure vandalism.

5. hobby shops will carry a release agent for super glue, but I'm not sure if it will be any easier on the paint than nail polish remover, but I know for a fact nail polish remover is death to a paint job
6. we used to have that happen a lot on our old car, thank god it dosnt happen anymore, people used to put all sorts into the locks aswell so they were blocked. it will be hard to get the superglue out, because when you put the nailpolish remover (which will work, as long as it contains acetone) it will just run off. tape some cotton wool balls onto the lock and pour the polish remover on is about the only way i can see it working. then take it off and try to apply it so it goes into the lock and disolves it all. but i doubt that it will be sucessfull. i would take it to a garage and see if they can take the locks out and clean them that way.
7. The best thing to use is ACETONE, which can be found in some nail varnish removers (some are specifically acetone free so do check). It slowly breaks up the polymer the glue forms. If you could arrange some way for the lock to be soaked in the acetone that would be best but be careful as this can also remove the paintwork of your car. Also hot soapy water really can work well also.
