Is there an alternative way to soldering a wire to a pcb?
I'm heard a hot glue gun/super glue can't solve the problem as it may melt during usage. I'm not sure about glue, but I'm trying to connect a wire onto a pin from a mini usb to another wire that connects to a 3.6v battery. Basically, I'm trying to use the mini usb port for charging my electronic device. The usb charger outputs 5v but I'm not sure if it will make a difference.

- I've heard that rumor too. That's why I stick to soldering. But I've also heard that impulse welding can be used in some cases. And ultrasonic welding also is used. Doug
- you can't glue a wire to a PC connection, as the glue acts as an insulator! .
- I' v no idea, but I think somebody will help you Good luck http://www.toboc.com/forum3/default.aspx?g=posts&t=1360
