- yeah it woks like wonders. wen i have a stain on my carpet it lifts it up pretty well.
- not very well since it's a colored stain remover. try pouring a little water on the stain. If you have a little oxy-clean mix a teaspoon of oxyclean with a full glass of hot water, mix until disolved, and then soak the stain. In the mean time, have your iron heating up on the highest setting, and have a dry towel (old and ratty is ideal because of the heat). Double the towel over, the soaked stain and put heat to the stain (via the towel). It takes a while for enough heat to get through the towel to steam the stain out, but it generally does work. It sometimes takes a couple of treatments if the stain is really into your carpet padding.
- of corse
- I wouldn't try it. There's another great product that's very inexpensive and can be found at Target, it's called Folex. Best stain remover i've ever found for carpet or furniture. Doesn't eat the glue. Not toxic, nor harmful to the pets in the house. Spray on and tap out. It's like 5 bucks for a good sized bottle and it took stains i had for years, right out! No, i don't sell the product, work at Target or make any money if you buy it. Just a consumer like you who found a product that actually worked. Shout is a bit harsher of a chemical and i've had troubles with it in the past. It's hard to get out properly.
