  1. Buy a new tank.
  2. how big is the tank? If its a small tank that can be replaced rather cheaply it's probably not worth trying to fix. If its a larger tank aquarium silicon is worth the try. I would research more though to see if the superglue is safe for fish.
  3. the crack may spread to avoid this you can drill small hole at either end of the crack a windshield or glass shop may be able to help as they have special Equipment but if it is not an expensive tank it will most likely be more cost effective to replace it.
  4. You can send it in for repairs, but that would cost more than actually buying a new tank. and if I didn't help enough here is a great website full of people willing to help: http://partners.pantheranetwork.com/z/6920/CD917/ It's a community of people with all different sorts of pets who show eachother their pets and most importantly help eachother. People on that site helped save my bearded dragon's life from tape stuck around its neck (dont ask lol) and my snake from calcium deficiency. its 100% free and doesnt spam and what not, enjoy!!!!
  5. Its not good to use glue! If the glue gets with the fish, the fish will die from the toxic chemicals in the glue.
  6. get some aquarium sealant, & fix it, I think you can buy it at hardware stores
  7. try some non toxic epoxy putty ( yes they make it) mix i before you apply it and slap and cake it on the inside of the tank, but it does sound like a great excuse to get a bigger....ummm...i mean new tank
  8. The best way to repair it is with silicone. It will need to dry for at least 24 hours though. You can use silicone from home cheapo. Just make sure it does not have any mildew inhibitors. Usually the one for windows and doors is good. Tanks are cheap, now is the time to get a larger one. Loctite or crazy glue is fine to use in a fish tank, It will not harm any livestock. People with reef tanks use it all the time to glue coral to rocks. We also use non toxic epoxy for this as well. Most plumbers epoxy is non toxic.
