- You can try rubbing alcohol but that may take the paint off if there is some.
- You can buy removal chemicals designed for the job ... but any paintwork will probably be knackered.
- because its die cast place it in a container of water as water will break down the glue without damage to the model, may take a day or two.
- If it really is "super glue" (like "Crazy Glue"), the only thing that will dissolve it is acetone. Unfortunately, acetone will amost certainly remove the finish from the model. If you are willing to repaint the model, soak the area with the super glue in nail polish remover (make sure it is the kind with acetone). It may take a while, but it will eventually come off. If you can't repaint the model, then there isn't much you can do to remove just the super glue, I'm afraid.
- If you don't mind messing the paint up then acetone is what you want to use to remove the super glue. It works fast. If you are worried about the paint then use some baby oil. Oil breaks down the super glue. Keep rubbing with the oil and eventually it will come off. Hand lotion also works well to remove super glue from our skin.
