How do you take off dried hot glue on clothes?

I put it on my clothes because someone said that it could take off easily. I stuck the foil to my jogging pants. When I took it off the next day, I'm having a hard time removing it!

1. try holding the clothes iron to the material on the fabric until the glue gets soft then remove the foil.don't get burnt doing it though
2. Try heating it with a hair dryer then pulling it off
