Gluesticks

I'm mixing vinegar and baking soda into a glue bottle and i need a way to close the bottle before they react

Its a chemistry lab that I'm doing and it involves making a glue bottle speed boat powered by the CO2 from the reaction. However, I have no way of closing the bottle without the ingredients reacting and bubbling out. I just need some suggestions on how to separate the ingredients as I pour them in. I can use any object that can easily be bought, including glue guns, bottles, etc.

  1. Put the vinegar in the bottle, then melt some wax or use a candle and put a paper thin layer over the vinegar, add baking soda and cap. Give it a hard shake. only use soft plastic bottles. Never, ever glass. Good luck
